Frequently asked questions
How do I create and share a list?
Open Tote and create a list, then tap Share to invite others. You can send an invite link, show a QR code, or share a short join code — anyone you invite sees the same list, updated in real time.
How do I join a list someone shared with me?
Open the invite link they sent you, scan their QR code, or enter the join code in the app. Once you join, the shared list appears alongside your own.
How do I sign in?
Tote uses Sign in with Apple or Google. We never see or store your password — your account is managed securely by the provider you choose.
My list isn't syncing. What should I do?
Tote syncs over the internet. Check that your device is online, then close and reopen the app. If a shared list still looks out of date, ask the other person to confirm you're both on the same list. If the problem continues, email us at support@mvadigital.ca.
Is Tote free?
Yes — Tote is free to use, with no ads.
How do I delete my account and data?
You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time. See our account deletion page for steps, or email us and we'll take care of it.
How is my data handled?
We explain exactly what we collect and how it's used in our Privacy Policy. You can request a copy of your data, or its deletion, by contacting us at the email above.
